Professor & Head of the Group

I am a professor for security and cryptography at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and head of the ITSC group. My research fields of interest are primarily in information security and cryptography. I love to apply the "sorcery" of cryptography. It empowers magical security solutions. Prior to joining the faculty of Computer Science I was a researcher with NEC Labs Europe and a postdoctoral fellow in Ran Canetti's crypto group at the Tel Aviv University. I received the PhD degree from the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security at the Ruhr University of Bochum.

I am a master's student in computer science with a strong focus on security and cryptography. I did my bachelor at the University of Aarhus. Before starting the master's degree, I worked for Thales Naval as a software developer.

Cryptography Researcher

I am a master's student at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. During the very first master's courses I discovered the interest for information security and cryptography. So, I decided to join the group and currently work on different topics within this research field. After I obtained my bachelor's degree from the same university I worked a few years as a Web developer.
